Project Happiness donated a Project Happiness Handbook to the Delta Phi Epsilon sorority at Northeastern University for their event to raise awareness for those affected by Eating Disorders, and to raise money for The National Association for Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders.
The event had an incredible turnout. Jennifer Caruso, the Philanthropy Coordinator for Delta Phi Epsilon, wrote us that her "Heart is so full!"
We are so excited for the Delta Phi Epsilon girls. They did such an amazing job organising the event and we were so happy to have a small part in it.
This event begun with a brunch and “Love-yourself” photo-booth, which people thoroughly enjoyed.
Up next was a panel of speakers who spoke about the varieties and different aspects of Eating Disorders.. This panel included speaker, author and activist Jena Marrow, as well as counselor Sheri Damon, registered dietician Matthew Stranberg, and professor Rachel Rodgers.
During this event, they held a silent auction with money raised going towards ANAD and the fight against eating disorders. Project Happiness was more than happy to donate an item towards a raffle basket or silent auction item to use to raise funds for ANAD.
Well done to the girls at Delta Phi Epsilon! Keep up the amazing work. You are truly making a difference in the lives of others.
