I now see my life with only physical limitations. I can write in bed even if it’s a paragraph at a time. I want to succeed, but this time I will do it. No more being scared of the future. Cancer is often the hardest thing people go through. But the way I see it, feeling negative with cancer will only make you feel worse.

Since ancient times, meditation has been used and still is, with the same enthusiasm, and for an excellent reason. Meditation has been considered one of the most efficient techniques to relieve stress and gain self-awareness. Not only that, almost every told benefit of meditation has been scientifically proven. 

Our work often puts us down, bringing stress, suffering, and pain into our lives. However, we’re intellectual and spiritual beings. Our mind is not subject to our thoughts while our thoughts are subject to thoughts. Simply put, use your WILL to change the way you think, and you WILL achieve harmony and happiness even if your work is pressing you harshly.

There are many things which you could do for increasing your energy levels. Yes, one such strongest method is planning a hike. It is just like a workout plan and you will definitely feel energized. It is sure to boost up your mood and revs the energy levels!

These occasional feelings of apprehension about our future distract us from our authentic journey. What can we do when we feel this way? If this is where you are at, bring your focus back to the moment. Norman Fischer tells us, “No matter how much or how little we're doing, we're always just doing what we're doing, simply living this one moment of our lives.”

This is why I have walked over 5,400 miles in 600 days over the course of the past 6 years talking to people about happiness and researching what we, in the United States, believe truly matters in life: identifying our common values and characteristics of a thriving nation.

In all ways, I believe this is true. At the very burning, volcanic diamond-centers of ourselves, we are complete. Enough. Multiversal. I do, however, have trouble reconciling this truth with my inherent impulse to try and improve myself constantly.

We all get down in the dumps from time to time – it’s only natural, and there are a million things daily that can throw your mood off. Sometimes, a particular event results in you just really needing to take some time and embrace the blues. And that’s okay. But when you feel like you're in a slump for too long or for no particular reason at all, the real challenge is to will yourself to get out of it.

The modern corporate lifestyle glorifies the “Work hard, play hard” philosophy – you should have it all, and you should have it right away. A successful career, an abundant social life, the right body, the expensive holiday, a plethora of possessions…all topped with a flashy Instagram profile to show off just how fun-loving you are.

When we have a fixed schedule that we must stick to, we know exactly what the next step is. There is no more procrastination, and no more lost time. We are fully concentrated on our assignments, since we know that they must be completed. We create a routine that must be respected.
